About this demo

This is a playable mockup, not the finished app. It shows how a child moves through a lesson: watch the story, learn the word and sign, play two short games, then do it for real at home and earn a sticker.

All seven lessons work at every level. Switch the level in the bar above to see the games change.
Big screen (top bar) makes everything larger for a class on a TV. On the story, the arrow keys turn the page.
On the website, you can add Little Lights to a tablet's home screen and play it without internet (iPad: Share, then Add to Home Screen).
Tap the face next to "Hi" to pick a buddy. A grown-up can type the child's name and turn on tips in the Grown-up corner. The name stays in this browser.
Nothing has a timer and nothing buzzes. If a child waits 6 seconds, Lumi repeats the question. After 12 seconds, the right answer glows.
Lines are read out loud when a screen opens, and again with the yellow speaker. The voices come from Kokoro, a free and open voice model (English: Heart, Spanish: Dora with a Latin American accent). The real app will use recorded human voices.
Stickers stay in this browser only. Reset them in the Grown-up corner (press and hold the dashed button for 1 second).
All art is placeholder. Sign drawings need review by a signing teacher.
